IntelliXBOMEvidence & scope

Advertises end-of-life tracking, advance warnings, upgrade recommendations and affected-service analysis. Its article also proposes graded, explainable maintenance classification.

EOL monitoring and follow-up decisions overlap. Sources checked 17 September 2026; we have not tested the product or verified the accuracy of inferred abandonment assessments.

EOL product description ↗Maintenance classification article ↗
SocketEvidence & scope

Documents deprecated and unmaintained-package alerts, plus alerts for available optimized replacements.

Maintenance warnings and replacement suggestions overlap with IsItDeadYet. Socket also advertises vulnerability patches for unmaintained packages.

Maintenance alert documentation ↗Certified Patches ↗
Endor LabsEvidence & scope

Documents package risk scores covering activity and quality, identification of unmaintained dependencies, reachability analysis and upgrade impact analysis.

Maintenance assessment and dependency decisions overlap. Its documented source analysis goes beyond our lockfile dependency paths.

SCA capability documentation ↗
Black Duck SCAEvidence & scope

Documents operational risk based on community activity and how current a component version is.

Maintenance signals and upgrade advice overlap. Version 2026.1 also documents direct-parent upgrade guidance for transitive dependencies.

ecosyste.msEvidence & scope

Provides package and repository datasets, dependency parsing and resolution tools, and applications for exploring open-source projects.

Project intelligence and dependency analysis overlap. It is also a possible data foundation; no ecosyste.ms connection is offered here.

OpenSSF ScorecardEvidence & scope

Includes a Maintained check and explicitly recognizes that some small utilities do not need frequent maintenance.

Quiet does not necessarily mean unhealthy is a shared principle. IsItDeadYet displays available Scorecard evidence retrieved through deps.dev separately from its maintenance verdict.

How to read this comparison

Each description is limited to the linked official source. Features, supported inputs and plan availability vary. An omitted capability means it was not evaluated here. Inclusion does not imply a partnership or native connector; see supported integrations.

IsItDeadYet offers maintenance verdicts and history, watchlist notifications, and bounded private inventory paths. Paths show supplied dependency relationships, not runtime reachability. We have not established superior accuracy, time savings or exclusive capabilities through comparative customer trials.

If your existing tools already answer the maintenance questions you need, you may not need another service. Our proposed value is making maintenance evidence and follow-up easier to review; its usefulness should be evaluated in your workflow.
